Bernadette and Jen

Bernadette Dezzara (born on February 28, 1948, in Ozone Park Queens New York) is famous as an American actor, singer, and storyteller of children's books. Over the course of her career for five decades, she has appeared on stage and in the theatre along with solo shows and recordings. She's among the most highly praised Broadway artists, receiving nominations to seven Tony Awards, winning two and eight Drama Desk Awards winning three. Grammy Awards have been won with four Broadway cast recordings where Peters was a part of. Peters started her career on stage when she was a child, and then when she was a teenager, in the 1960s. In the 1970s she was acting in films and television. The early work she did, such as her performances on The Muppet Show The Carol Burnett Show along with various television shows and her roles in films such as Silent Movie The Jerk Pennies from Heaven received a lot of praise. In the 1980s she returned to the stage where she became one of the most well-known Broadway actors over the next three decades. She also has recorded seven solo albums, and a number of singles, in addition to several cast albums. In addition, she frequently performs in her own solo show. Peters is also a regular performer in films and on television where she has been recognized for her work with the award of three Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards being awarded once.
