Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor and is famous for his role in the famous television shows like 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to take an interest in acting. While at the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. While he's appeared on film and television it is his characters on the smaller screen that gave him popularity and much fans. His ability to portray characters in both legal and non-legal settings is what has caught the attention of the public. He was the voice of a serial killer on the first TV series he appeared in but later went on to play the role as an NYPD detective.
